Logan will be 9 months old tomorrow. I read back over all my blogs since he was born and am having a hard time believing all that we've done and all the memories we've made in this short period of time. This is only 9 months of his life and I already feel that I've forgotten so much. How do I bottle up each and every memory and never forget it?!
Logan is more fun now than ever. I feel like I could say that every day. A new fun piece of his charming personality reveals itself each time we interact with him.
Logan brushing his teeth. . . sort of.
At 9 months:
We are playing lots of copy-cat games. Logan grunts. Mommy grunts. Logan laughs and grunts again. Mommy grunts. And on and on and on. . .
He is getting our third tooth - another bottom one.
Logan really enjoys finger foods - toast, yogurt melts, puffs, pizza crust, some cut up fruit.
He is pulling up on anything he can get to. He can even rotate from the coffee table to the couch.
Crawling. FAST.
Changing diapers is a two man job. Logan can roll over and be on his knees in less than 1 second (I swear! I'm going to time it.)
He loves standing on his changing table (supervised of course!) and playing with the letters on his wall. "G" is the most played with since it is in the middle. And he gets a kick out of when I point to each letter and say what it is and then point to him and say "Logan".
Bath time is, well, almost not worth it sometimes. It is very hard to keep him on his bottom. He wants to crawl around and play with the drain switch and faucet (which is covered in a plastic Noah's Ark thing), which isn't too dangerous I suppose, but he is also constantly pulling up on the side.
He is almost waving bye-bye. As long as there are no distractions he will wiggle his fingers. And his teacher and I both think he said "BA" the other day when I dropped him off.
Logan claps a lot, pats on things, plays quietly in his crib until he falls asleep, grabs his pacifier out of my hand and shoves it into his mouth, tries to help turn pages of his board books, and sleeps 11 hours at night, though he takes terrible 30-45 minute naps at school.
Logan's smile and sparkly eyes melt mommy and daddy's hearts and draw the attention of lots of strangers. He is a sweet, sweet boy and we are so blessed to wake up every day and get to spend it with him.
